Tru-Grit Coatings Presents: Three Tru-Flake Garage Floor Epoxy System Plans

Updated: Jul 20, 2022

At Tru-Grit Coatings, we have two plans available for our Tru-Flake systems:

  • Ultimate

  • Premium

ULTIMATE PLAN

Tru-Quartz Alpha Garage Flooring System

After one day of completion, Tru-Grit Coatings LLC provides a four-coat system with 40 MILs thickness utilizing flake/quartz substrate broadcasted with a Pigmented Coat Tru-Solid Polyaspartic and an application of our Tru-Alpha Natural Satin or Tru-Alpha Gloss SBU to finish!

PREMIUM PLAN

OPTION 1

Tru-Flake Hybrid MVB Garage Flooring System

After two days of completion, Tru-Grit Coatings LLC provides a three-coat system with an 28-32 Mils thickness using our Hybrid nanotechnology utilizing 100 Solids Epoxy (Moisture Vapor Barrier) and Tru Alpha Polyaspartic. In our standard category, we only offer one system: our hybrid moisture vapor resistant 100 solid epoxy system. Tru-Aquasil Moisture Vapor Barrier 100 Solid Epoxy Primer is included with all of these systems. This primer is intended to withstand moisture vapor pressures of up to 16 pounds per thousand square feet. This primer also cures hard regardless of how thickly we apply it. This is ideal for substrates with a lot of natural imperfections or that are more than 20 years old. In this image, the color blend is called Beachwave!

OPTION 2

Tru-Flake 1 Day Alpha System

After one day of completion, Tru-Grit Coatings LLC provides a three-coat system with a 18-25 Mils thickness using our Tru-Alpha Polyaspartic NanoX Technology. The Tru-Alpha Polyaspartic Clear Gloss Topcoat that comes with this system can be upgraded to include either our Polyaspartic HD Topcoat or an Urethane Natural Satin Topcoat. In this image, the color blend is called French Toast!

In addition to the lifetime adhesion warranty currently included with the floor, these two extra topcoats will offer a topical warranty for an additional three years. Customers often select the HD topcoat in order to have better definition or resilience to heavier than usual traffic. Customers often choose natural satin because they desire to keep their applications safer and more organically natural. Customers need to be aware that in order to achieve a great satin finish, a final topcoat needs to cure for an additional 2 1/2 days.

OPTION 4

Tru-Flake 1-Day Reverse Chip Solid Garage Flooring System

After one day of completion, Tru-Grit Coatings LLC provides a three-coat system with a 13-18 MILs thickness using nanotechnology. This flooring option is ideal for customers who prefer a flake texture but prefer a more solid application. In this image, the color blend is Platinum Grey!

This option has a 15-year adhesion warranty and is completely UV stable. This is also a three-layer system that will provide you with a very beautiful, simple, and easy-to-clean finish. This system has a 15 year warranty.

OPTION 3

Tru-Flake Eco-Sparse System

After one day of completion, Tru-Grit Coatings LLC provides a three-coat system with a 13-18 MILs thickness using nanotechnology. This system has a very similar quality to Option 1, but the difference is that customers who choose this type of application are more concerned about the amount of flakes used on the project. This blend is Cookie Dough Sparse!

This type of application will have a coverage rate of about 75%, allowing significant amounts of base coat color to show through. This system comes standard with a Tru-Alpha Urethane Topcoat Clear, but it can be upgraded to a Natural Satin Topcoat Clear if desired. Customers must understand that the final topcoat requires an additional 2 1/2 days of curing time to achieve that nice satin look! This system has a 15 year warranty.

The bulk of installation businesses generally rely on large box manufacturing corporations that make judgments focused on profit rather than quality, resulting in subpar products and even subpar service that simply do not stand up over time. We re-define the standards in customer service, quality, and surface preparation using all we've learnt in the business. By utilizing these four garage systems, we can better customize your garage floor to cater to your epoxy flooring needs.
