Whenever a topcoat is applied to our deck system, we further add a polycarbonate additive to ensure that slip resistance is present, resulting in a safe environment for the family. Keep in mind that our system can be completed in three days, depending on the afternoon rain forecast. For foot traffic, the full return to service is two days after application, and for rougher treatment, it is three days. This system will give the maximum slip resistance required for graded outdoor surfaces. If you are dissatisfied with the surface friction, we can apply another coat for an extra fee.
